Thanks. That really does look like more than an inch. Cant really tell it has a bl either. Looks perfect hight for 35s.

 

I know I can't believe it was only 1in it feels a lot higher but rides a lot smoother

 

I was wondering that too. Not the stuff on bottom but the stuff that floats. I wonder how much fuel is actually left when the light comes on. I once got stuck out of town in a power outage and drove on the light over 50kms.

Anyways ive never had any issues with any of my vehicles by doin this and i like to see how many kms i get out of each tank.

 

Smoother? Did you replace body mounts to or did you use the daystar kit that replaces them. If so your old mounts probably sagged out some.

 

I used the daystar which replaced everything

Alright need some help , I'm trying to get my stock bumper off so I can put the tube on but the bolts that are holding the stock one in are weldnuts. Other then torching them off how could I get them off?

 

Why would you need to torch them? I assume you're referring to the rear bumper right? It's ultimately held on by 2 bolts on each side. The rear most ones have loose nuts that you have to hold with a wrench while you take the bolt out (these should be 18mm nuts). The ones in front of those are, as you said, welded on. But why would you need to remove them? Is your bumper not going to be bolting into the stock holes? If it is, then these welded on ones are actually the easier ones because they don't require you to hold them with a wrench.

 

is the 99 tacoma steering wheel the same as 01-04?
