    That's to hold the backside up, it really doesn't need it. It has little plastic pieces that slide in between the window and door.

    Thanks. I thought it was only if you were actually using them. Ill have to do some reading and see what Texas has to say about it. Think goodness its just plastic covers that pop on/off and I have clear, orange and red. Assuming I cant run the red either if I cant run the blue.

    Ordered my Clazzio's May 24th got them July 23rd and Installed them in the heat of the day.
    Opened the box this morning and decided to wait till it got up to the 95 degree's of today, so I decided to first watch Jared's You Tube video on how to install them. After reviewing the instructions I was able to do an excellent install. Took me 20 minutes per side that's for the AC Tacoma. Overall I really like the quality and attention to detail. They really do look like factory leather seats. The odor isn't as bad as I thought it would be, nothing a fragrance tree can't fix..
    I did lose a little head room though, my head is now 2" from the head liner, even had to readjust the mirrors. Hopefully it will settle in..
