    Nothing's been delivered.. to my friend yet.

    SOOO my front suspension still has a single clunk/pop that sounds like a sway bar. It's not easily reproduceable, randomly does it, not every time, doesn't happen on the street, only on trails, bumpy/rocky stuff, usually slow speed. Single noise that sounds like its front driver side. Removed the sway bar, it seems to happen less, but its still there. Tried pushing/pulling on all suspension parts with no luck. I have not (maybe will tomorrow) tried while the vehicle is off the ground. It started doing it after the last time of swapping out the shocks, only thing different was non-blown shocks and a trim packer on drivers side. Checked all bolts, good to go. Swapped out the shocks again since then, same deal.

    If it were a ball joint, I assume upper would be the first to go? I am usually in 4wd when it happens, not sure if its a drivetrain thing. I'll put it in neutral to take the pressure off the driveshaft and see if its good. It was just in for 25k service and came out with a "everything is good as new" even though the passenger outer CV boot is spewing grease from under the clamp and that wasnt mentioned. Tech was ... I'll leave it at "new" so I am a bit worried about things like the probability of oil drain plug may now be at 75 ft/lbs.

    Thanks, It'll probably be somewhat quick as I've done it probably five times already and can't figure it out. It is supposed to be "cooler" tomorrow, but it'll still be too hot for any extended digging around for something I probably cannot find...again. Its probably a good thing that I dont have anything to paint tomorrow... so I can get the backlog of trails worked on inside in the a/c. :D

    Lemme know what you find out cuz mine is starting to do the same thing.. usually very low speeds, single clunk/pop as well. My lower ball joints were replaced recently, no sway bar and new coilovers right meow

    If I had to guess, I'd say upper ball joint just since with the stock arms, I am sure they are working at their limits. But, I can and have shaken the whole truck by wiggling the front tire and cannot reproduce it. If it were predictable, I'd have someone else slowly drive it while I was able to feel where it was coming from. But, I can do it once, then not reproduce it. I really want the sway bar back on though since without it, this thing handles like an H2.

    Good review especially you relate these tires to Colorado climate. I like the picture shots too. It would be very helpful for CO folks wanting to these tires.

    Hey fellow Colorado TW peeps! I finally got my front lift done and I want to get an alignment done after my leaf springs and before I tub for my 35s. Can you recommend an alignment shop between Denver and Boulder that is familiar with these trucks and aftermarket UCAs? Thanks!

    Groove toyota. They are right next to me and @thefatkid and his crew of workmonkeys do an awesome job. After having 3 diffrent shops fuck an alinment up i will gladly pay the diffrence for toyota to do it. How soon tell the tubbing commences? I would wait tell you are all said and done if its within a month.

    Thanks, Jake!

    If I get the rear done today, tubbing is gonna be over the next week or so. My understanding was that it's best to get the alignment done first so as to locate the tire in the fenders appropriately. But maybe it isn't that important..?

    Unless you played with the lower the tire should still sit pretty close to where it needs to be front to back. The only big adjustment should be your camber. And you can see by sight if its close enough. If the top was in more then it should be that might help you in clearence when laying out for tubing. But some one with alinement experiance should chime in too

    Thanks again for the input, Jake!

    I know I'm prone to overthinking things and this could be one of those cases. If I can get away with waiting until after tubbing, I'd prefer that. I'm getting about what I want for lift with the Kings out of the box, so I don't think I'll be messing with that. I'll see how the 35s look at this setting before I finalize that, though. I'm waiting on spacers, so I won't be tubbing until then regardless.

    @TimF, what do you think?

    Stuff and junk and things...

    Are you going to be daily driving it? If not I would just tub it now and get the alignment after. If you get my cut down bumps so you will have extra room at full stuff I don't' see it being a problem after an alignment.

    You guys rock! Thanks again for the tips.

    I definitely want to run your bumps when I do the tubbing. And no, it isn't my daily, so I think I'll take your guys advice and tub first. Once I get the shipping notification for my spacers, I'll grab those bumps. Thanks again.
