    So I'm right on the cusp of level 14. I'm debating on doing my mass evolve soon. But I'm seconding guessing on how to do it. Should I just collect all the pidgeys and weedles I can? Basically the pokemons who only take 12 to evolve? Or should I do it with my rarer Pokemon too? Since everyone seems to agree that an evolve = the same amount of XP regardless of which Pokemon and doesn't matter 1st to 2nd generation or 2nd to 3rd generation that it would be better to just load up on the trash Pokemon and do it that way...

    I currently have enough candy to evolve:
    Abra
    Caterpie
    DoDuo
    Ekans
    Geodude
    Growlithe
    Meowth
    Paras
    Pidgeotto x2 or Pidgey x10
    Eevee x2
    Ratatta x2
    Venonat

    All the Pokemon I have are high CP for their kind and have pretty good size arc.

    I think I'd get extra XP for getting new Pokemon too that I haven't got yet (i.e Arcanine, Arboc, etc)...

    Id save everything thing that would be new to evolve with the lucky egg too cuz u would get evolve +new pokwdex entree too. Plus u might wind up gettin a couple medals unlocked (like kanto if u reach 50 or 100) and i thank u get point for medals too. Also if u run out of evolves to do catch as many as u can and ull get 200 per catch with the lucky egg. Plus poke stops will be 100 so be near them if u can and drop a lure for good measure

    do both. you'll get extra xp for new pokemons added to you pokedex. so a new evolve + new discovery + lucky egg will be like 3kish. don't forget to use your lucky egg. also just do pidgeys, not pidgeottos. after you're done evolving, you should still have 12-15 mins left on your lucky egg. so maybe go to a place where there are a lot of pokestops/lures. everything you catch will be 200+xp, pokestops will be 100xp.
