Is the bumper cover a separate cover that goes over that bumper? I'm a bit confused.

 

No, I removed the painted bumper cover piece, and installed the OR model's unpainted matte black one.

 

correct me if im wrong but isn't that illegal pretty much everywhere?

 

In Florida if someone is driving towards you with high beams on you are allowed to flash your high beams one, just one, time to "remind" them to turn them off.

Technically riding on any public roads at night with a light bar on is illegal, it's not enforced here unless your riding into traffic blinding people.

I live in a small country town and people use their light bars mostly in the woods... I love mine when it comes time to load and unload stuff after night fishing, bow fishing, collecting wood for a fire, setting up camp at night, lighting up a field for a field party... Etc..

But if someone is blinding me on paved roads and the one time i flash my high beams doesn't correct the problem i will flash my led bar once.. That has always corrected the problem.

On the other hand it doesn't seem to be illegal, or enforced anyways, to drive with led bars on during the day. I occasionally see people showing their lights off in town during daylight...

There was once i showed some guys my LED at a car detail shop during the day... Forgot to turn it off, it's not easily noticeable during the day... i rode directly behind a cop for a few miles and it was on the entire time. The cop hit a u turn and went the other way.. Never bothered with me... Not even a mile later a guy with a roof mounted LED flashed his bar... I went to flash mine and noticed it was on...

Last note... Around here we say hello to each other by flashing lights... It's not too uncommon for someone who knows my truck to flash their LED, then i flash mine.. It's friendly sometimes accompanied by a few horn honks and waves out the window.

 

Thanks for the Floridian LED bar etiquette. lol. Up here in PA we don't have too many folks with bars at least not where I am from. I'm sure if you go out towards WV that would not be the case. I think I can count the numbers of times on one hand I've seen people using their LED bars at night on the road. So I guess the cops around here wouldn't be as forgiving.

 

Around here LED light bars (or any extra bright lights) tend to get smashed if they are used improperly on the road.

 

Redoing my Tacoma badges today. Going from burnt orange to black... hope I like the change of color. ... mtf.

Installed eBay Katzkin leather kit. The fit was great on the rear seats but wasn't as nice on the front 2 seats. Very happy with the change either way.
