I really probably should have a hi lift....
One of those things I've just never picked up.
Any reason to pass on this and get a 60"?

you ain't tall enough to need it.

48" is plenty tall enough for these trucks. Plus the damn things are heavy and ungainly as hell on any surface other than the driveway. Keep a ratchet strap in your truck and you can use it to tie the axle to the frame and lessen the height needed to get it off the ground.

Better to ask what I have not done.
Ouch low blow. I was just going to say that those michelins never could have took him to a spot where the highlift would have been needed. But now that he has real tires he could get a high lift.

:duel:I'm taller than you you sawed off son of a....wait, you were talking about the truck weren't you?

Rear bumper hi lift point is about 30" off the ground.
How high will the foot go on a 48" hi lift?

My rear bumper is no bueno for a hi lift foot and neither is the front. I run out of jack before the tire leaves the ground. I've lifted it from the sliders before and it worked very well.
