First long drive up to Lake Tahoe after the TSB. Not bad with 285/70/17's and a 3" lift :D

Day 4 after TSB. All is still excellent. No sticker on mine. Don't care. Drives new again. Absolute improvement.

This is a permanent "modification" of your tranny, kind of like a performance tune. I've had my Shelby tuned a couple of times when a new Super Charger was installed (I also have these tunes saved on my computer). The sticker is verification of the tune and that it meets smog criteria in your state. I have NEVER disconnected my battery for these tunes nor was there any "learning" stages of the tune, it's a permanent "modification".
Next time I go in for service I will ask for this sticker which may be needed for future smog.

    Do you drive a 4x4 or a 4x2?

Also what kind of gas were you running at the time?

    Edit: Sorry, I see it's an OR so I assume it's a 4x4...

I am taking mine in tomorrow. Hopefully I will feel the difference. Even getting rid of the delay between reverse and drive would be nice.

Had it done yesterday and big improvement. When I pulled off the lot and drove down the street I looked down to see if they had hit the ECT button because that's what it felt like: more responsive. No more R to D lag either.

Do not think it's necessary. The update should wipe it but it will not wipe your saved data on fuel economy and radio etc

Some OR's are two-wheel drive. Guess Toyota realized some people want the OR look at a lower price point.

I had the TSB done on monday. I knew the R to D delay was gone after a few days but I don't commute with my truck so I couldn't fully evaluate the most important part of this update, getting rid of the 4th gear hang in cruise control Went on a long drive today with plenty of hilly highway driving at 65 to 75mph and the hanging 4th gear is totally gone. I've done probably about a dozen 10+ hour drives in my truck going back and forth to CO and UT since getting my truck and I honestly felt like getting rid of my truck when I was done with those drives. I was so frustrated and fatigued having to constantly manipulate the CC or throttle to get the truck to upshift and even then it would usually only hold 5th gear when coming from 4th and would rarely hold 6th gear on any sort of an incline or with a strong headwind. I was happy with the truck driving around town or any other time but highway driving sucked and taking my truck on trips that involves some sort of offroad driving at the destination is a major reason I have it.

All that is in the past now. The truck holds 6th gear and 5th gear longer on hills and upshifts correctly after cresting the climbs. Completely changes the driving experience.

    Upshifting issue is resolved.
R to D delay is gone.
Surging while braking to a stop is gone.
Jumping/creeping while pulling into the garage is pretty much gone.

I also noticed that the mismatch between the digital and analog seems to be gone. I am wondering now if the odometer error is gone. I'll have to check that against my gps next time I plan on doing an extended drive.
