I dont think you'll fit the 35s without cutting/tubbing unless you only drive straight. I could be missing something here though.

Better to ask what I have not done.
He is a first genner so he has to cut a good 2-3 inches out of his fire wall and weld in a new plate.

Ok i have a question, those of you that have popped a tire on the trail, has it ever been so bad that you could not patch and re inflate to get back home? Where the spare was the only option?

What Jake said ;). After hearing both he and Tim weigh in, I've decided to get the alignment after I get done tubbing.

Thanks, fellas! This forum, and the Colorado forum has been a huge help. I really appreciate it!

@TimF does he need the bumps for the shocks or just to stop up? When we did @alee891 we didnt change bumps and only had to hammer in a little bit to make it clear on stuffing.

Not to speak for Tim, but my take is that the cut down bumps, when used with the coilovers removed to determine rubbing, add a little bit of margin to the gap that you create while tubbing. I think it's a good idea, and my stock ones are coming off anyway for a set of Super Bumps once the tubbing is finished. That said, I'm a neophyte with this stuff, so I defer to you guys!

Not personally, but have been on group rides where someone else did. *Sidewall puncture, that is.

*By saying "popped", do you mean popping the bead? Have seen that too where there was so much mud/rocks/crud between the tire and wheel where it leaked so bad after popping the tire back on that the spare was put on. Be sure to clean that area really well before reseating a bead.

Were yours ever removed/reinstalled to make the noise? I've never touched mine other than making sure they were torqued down from the factory trying to find loose stuff.

Anyone here have experience with the Gopro Hero 4 Black? I see the new Hero 4's have a Night Photo setting that bumps up exposure time and seems to put out some quality night photos.

I mean just got a flat due to a puncture in the tire. I have unseated 4 beads and have been able to reseat them all with oba or co2 i have also put a branch through the side wall and was able to plug it enough to get home and ran it for an extra week tell i got new tires. I just have yet to have one where i NEEDED to get the spare out. I think that i would rather try patching a tire first and seeing if that works before grabbing the spare incase i really NEED the spare. I know that if the tire gets punctured its getting replaced so i might as well do what it takes, with in reason. To make that tire work rather then pulling a good tire and run the risk of popping that tire too..

If you don't need the action-cam ness of the gopro you can get a really nice mirrorless DSLR for $500-600. Just syn2k.

I'm definitely checking out mirrorless cams as well (which would likely be better for night photos). Just curious how the Hero 4 Black performs with the new setting. Haven't fiddled with the Gopro in over a year and brought it out yesterday. I forgot how convenient that thing is

Only thing i've heard about the GoPro 4's is more people having freezing issues with them. There are a bunch of very cheap knock-offs depending on how much quality of a picture you need.

Thats what you should do IMO... attempt to patch and/or repair the tire thats got the hole. If it cannot be fixed, then you swap to the spare and head back to the trailhead before you end up with only three good tires and a $1k tow bill.
