Will that tire gate be strong enough to drive with it down? Not for serious off-road, but moving plywood and sofas.

I think I'm going to do something similar, although not high clearance.

You cant do much with a 5 foot bed. Especially one with a giant rack and spare in it currently.
This bumper wasnt made for resale. It was made for me.:)

    I know. :)

I've been toying with ideas for a custom bumper for a while. Something better than stock, integrated hitch, and a tire gate.

welp, need to rebuild another Icon. I think ill rebuild it one more time and if i get a blow out again im done with icon.

Arms did GREAT as did the bump stops with the spacers. really happy with my front set up, the rear though. It needs some work.

yeeeep. Thats why theres a touch of frustration when i saw the oil everywhere. Especially on the brand new arm lol

Only one coilover this time, so i have no idea what happened. Reason why ill let it slide one more time.

do you think you overextended it? or is there any pitting on the shaft?

I say fuck it, rebuild 'em and sell 'em ... get some ADS or Kings.

@northwesttaco, sell Sam your Kings :)

this was the new shaft that was replaced because of pitting last rebuild. No over extending, i have it strapped to before the uniball post slaps the cup. Still some room left in the coilover from there. Im strongly debating rebuilding and grabbing some kings.

    Whatchu got @northwesttaco

I'm not sure if he's promised his elsewhere but since he's going +2 maybe you can buy his EXT Kings? Just a thought. He's the only one I know of that could be up for sale very soon. I can also look into a set from King for you as well. I haven't priced them for non LT, but I can take a look and see for you. Im not sure if TC stocks them on the shelf for non LT.

We ended up cutting it ourselves from 3/16, but I was ready to jump on Jeff's GB though.

I do believe he has it going again also. There was a post on TWFB a few weeks ago. Hit up @jeffz0rz !

Sweet, I'll check that out. Wasn't sure if it would be cheaper to get it from someone or just do it. Only have access to a hand plasma not sure if I could do it good enough free hand.

yeah these icons are the extended version as well. Would be interested to see, but im guessing they will be right around 1400-1600. Thats the range i've been seeing everywhere.

More worried about the rear of mine. need to get 2.5s to get rid of these 2.0s, they bucked horribly bad. its the valving but i need to upgrade to 2.5s anyway at this point. But thats dependent on if i keep icon or not so i can match.

Its going to be a lot of work to measure, cut and grind that clean by hand with a plasma. The price Jeff sells his at shipped is well worth the savings in time and frustration. Not to mention, he's done all the work already.

No one else makes these that I know of and Avid has no plans to do so either. Especially when Jeff already has a great product and price. :)

I have 2 guys waiting. First one I doubt and second one says he will but who knows until the deal is done. I'll let you know though.
Has 12,000 miles, extended travel and 600lb coils. When I clean them up they'll look brand new.

Might make the deal a bit better. Also I'll be down in NorCal early September if you do end up getting them. Save you on shipping @LTDSC
