Everytime I do an evolve on an Eevee, I change the name, completely logout and log back in, then do the evolve. This way you have less of a chance of server issues and has worked for me successfully everytime.

 

Spotted a Wartortle on the way home over the weekend. His timer was down to about 5 minutes and I was about 15 min away on an average ride home. I got to him with about 20 seconds to spare and he popped up. Lets just say the tacoma got a good workout for those few minutes.

I'm not sure what happened to where I can catch Zubats easier than Spearows.

 

Pidgeys and rattata are so hard to catch. They pop out of pokeballs at like CP 20. Makes me so mad

Don't have much experience with incense yet. Only used once while I was in my hotel room in Vegas...

If I pop one and walk around my neighborhood is it just going to attract the pokemons that are already in my neighborhood or will random ones pop up? If it just going to increase the number of pidgeys and rats I see I don't want to use one, but if it will potentially give me pokemons I haven't seen before I want to give it a shot.

I figured I would use it once I finished my mass evolve while I still had some time left on my lucky egg

 

You'll be able to attract some Pokemons that others can't see. It could be a pidgey or a rare one.

 

I hate incense. Every time I use it, someone drops a lure

I'm not sure if you get better pokemon to spawn around you. But from what I've seen, a lure is better than incense.

Someone just dropped lures at the pokestops. Now Magikarps are spawning in droves.
