Agreed, but he fits in well with the format of the show. The entire Power Block is a huge commercial with nothing but product placement at every turn. The actual commercials have less advertising than the shows themselves.

Kills me every time Stacey David goes "hahahaThatIsSoCOOL!hahaha." He's a goofball that constantly chuckles when he talks.

On the other hand, he does know what he's doing and has skills.

The guy on Xtreme 4x4 is tolerable and they do offer some decent information from time to time. Strip out all the fodder and advertising and there's about 45 seconds of useful information for every 30 minutes during the Power Block. Still, I tend to watch it when it's on.

On that same note of stripping things down, take TRUCKU, and you might have about 5 seconds of actual build time.

Just imagine how much better all the powerblock shows would be if they weren't so ad driven. People IMO would actually watch more shows not just the one show when their personal/favorite car or truck would actually appear. And more builds would actually be made on a realistic budget. I can't remember how many times their "budget" builds had freebies from their "friends", come on. Or was that in Monster Garage?

Those guys on TruckU even put Stacey to shame with their tool-ness.

I do know that they are the exact diameter of the bottom of a 33 gallon trash can.
