I'd recommend getting your shooting down. Shooting is your main grade for that class. Well, the two classes I took anyways

A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
Should be interesting to see how far these reach.
Also remember to qualify with a semi auto. If you bring a wheel gun then you can only carry one, but if you qualify with a semi auto then you can carry either style. If you want to try out a few different models we can make a range day and I'll bring all of mine for you to test out.

Here is a question. Since we can open carry now. Does that mean we don't have to worry about the gun print? Or if our shirt comes up showing the gun?

So came home a little early to get things ready and work on the land cruiser a little bit. Decide to start my big brush pile up and walk under the house where I keep all my tools image.jpg
Just to find this little fuck
Had to shoot it laying on the ground aiming under the rack. Took 8 shots for it to finally die

That's going to be my CCW, should be ordering in a week or two. Definitely get your shooting down, you down have to be a grade A marksman to pass, but it definitely helps to know the basics. Also ask Aron K for the info for the guy that teaches in Mont Belview, we did our class through him and he was fantastic.

Ya laying on the ground sweating my ass off shinning a flashlight and aiming under a rack with 3 inches of space with my pellet gun was not ideal. But damn after being hit twice I thought he would die and not take 8 shots

I was gonna ask what the hell you were shooting it with that took 8 shots?! But now I understand. Tough little bastard he was. Sooo.... If you hit him 8 times how many shots do you actually fire
And that is what it is about. Felling comfortable and in control of your firearm. Now you just need to get out there and practice. Since it is a poly frame is look for a light load in your ammo to help reduce you recoil. And remember to pick up several different manufactures of ammo your first go around. You can have two of the exact same firearm and each one shoot better with a different kind of ammo. Find out what yours likes then try to go back to the same location you bought that ammo from and see if you can find more in the same batch number. You can find this on the side of the box. If you don't know where to look just being the empty box with you and have the sales person help.
