I have a ubolt flip as well, stock shackles though. This is interesting. I have mine mounted to the frame and thought that was the problem. I will definitely not be using these again. After careful measurements I thought these were perfect.

Well when i explode mine like yours did i will have to change things, if and when it does happen i'm most likely going to be welding on a strike plate and mounting some air bumps so this becomes a non issue.

 

This would be ideal ^^^^

 

By the way i'm not a pro by any stretch of the imagination but if you guys have the power supply and need some straight forward welding done for this sort of thing i have a fairly mobile welding set up. You get into the complicated shit i'm sending you to Eddy.

 

Hard to argue with how easy it is to slap a flat surface down somewhere and nice and neat tuck a set of air bumps in there. Only real issue is getting the math right for your specific application. I am at about 5 up and 9 down but we shall see once the 63s get slapped on here shortly.

Math is hard. I need to redo my rear geometry but haven't decided if I'm going to get another set of Dakars and be lazy or do the Chevy 63s. No mater what I have to modify my DYF shock hoops since the guy who made them was drunk and the tire rubs the shock when stuffed.

 

My passenger side saggy ass negative arch Dakar firmly suggests the 63's

Yay, I get to take some of my dash apart, I lost every setting on my blower motor but one. At least its high speed that works

 

@mrbedgood ordered my TEIN Street Advance Z coilovers last night. Went with those so I could use new factory upper shock mounts.

 

On the 2nd gen? It's wiring or Blower resistor at passenger feet. Wiggle it, don't take dash apart.
