No pics on the forum. The only thing I can think of is the first above tree line ascent gives you a much harder left line vs the right line that everyone takes. The left line comes up and attempts to re-join the main trail but it's sketch as hell trying to get back on that part. I am thinking maybe he rolled there and back down the trail for a bit which eventually would be off the side and into the trees. Other then that I am at a loss.

I've done Red Cone a bunch, and seen a few things. Watched one nearly roll getting sideways on that accent after getting out of the woods, where the trail is mostly loose rocks. Our group was still in the bottom, and sent one rig up to see if we could help. They were pretty puckered up, and really tippy. With some more experienced eyes looking at the situation, we got 'em to drive out of it. They were one bad decision away from a really bad day.

Watched an ATV tumble down Webster Pass on the Montezuma side. We were having lunch in the bottom, and someone gasped and pointed up the mountain. Couldn't tell what it was at first, but the pieces were flying off of it. The kid on it took that first hairpin switchback way too fast and bailed off the back as it exited the trail. He tumbled a bit and had some bad scratches on the legs. There was a pickup in our group who offered to load up what was left of the ATV and drive it out, which they accepted.

Gears are here, so they're next in line after the tub fest is done. That core charge is damn good motivation!

And yes, it took like a ten point turn to get her turned around and backed into the garage!:rofl::rofl:

Thanks, they looked like they should, but didn't want to find out the hard way. I finally heard back from Relentless and they will be shipped out tomorrow. Seemingly long turnover time to put two simple brackets in an overpriced envelope. But maybe with the other package delays it'll work out.

Anyone have camping suggestions for Summit County? Hopefully something away from the crowds?
