    You haven't looked at my tires...ever...have you? :D

    Seems like I recall Tim #1 and Wes having to do some fender trimming to clear dirty-5s. At the very least some trimming of the flares. You might be okay if you only drive on the pavement with the sway bar hooked up, but off-road without the sway bar...I dunno.

    Yeah, holder Mine has power and water hook-ups. :thumbsup:

    Granted, most of my tire damage on the rear is from the fenders gnawing on them, but the passenger rear has a nasty cut up the sidewall...from Citrus...somehow. That said, Hardrock and B-pit will eat your tires as well if you're not careful and don't air down.

    Wes is pretty much just a 3" lift on 35s body panels around the wheels are non existent

    Yeah, but you can get more than 3" of lift without doing a long travel or a drop bracket thanks to those Max Tracs so you Prerunner guys can clear 35s without doing more than flattening the pinch weld and doing the CMC. Didn't realize that you had been involved with clearancing for 35s on a 4WD (Travis) though. That's why I said your Prerunner arse didn't count. :D

    Correct. However, if you remove your sway bar to get more (read 'any') articulation out of the front end, you should probably still do the CMC and flatten your pinch weld even with 33s.

    Edit: at least with a 2nd Gen, you don't have to tub your floor boards or run a BL to clear 35s :(

    Well what it comes down to is I have one of the diesel vw that is polluting too much and they will be buying it back. Well they gave me a $1k gift card to use at the dealership as an I'm sorry don't hate us but I'm doing the buyback on the car so I have nothing to spend it on. Turns out they said they will order me tires for the truck through the dealership.

    Tldr: I am getting free set of tires which gives me a chance to go 35 if I want. I don't know if I want the hassle lol

    I personally love my bf goodrich ko2's. Every year ebay and discount tire does $100 off purchases of $200 or more on those. I ordered 2 sets of 2 so $200 total off. Got all 4 in 265/70/17 for $645 shipped to my house
