@Casper66 I stand corrected, but a lot of guys end up having to do it. Like i said wheels, spacers, offset, etc. does play a big role.

yes you are absolutely rt all these things factor in and to be honest i'm suprised mine clear like they do my wheels are 17x9 4.5bs -12 offset so the tires stick out even more not obnoxiously but it could cause clearance issues

I was going to say. Even the same exact size will slightly vary from brand to brand. But a BFG KO2 in 285/70r17 will be about identical to the same tire in a 285/75r16 variation

It does. I run them. I would recommend 285/70/17 on the next set - did a CMC with 2.75" of lift over stock (3rd gen) and still rub every now and then on curbs/driveways at full lock. Plus at 285/70/17 you can get C-rated, whereas the 285/75/17s are E-rated (much heavier, intended for full size truck, ride much stiffer)

What are yall talking about?? I have bfg ko2 in 285/75/17's on my truck. They are 34's and almost an inch larger than the 285/70/17's.

    https://www.discounttire.com/buy-tires/bfgoodrich-all-terrain-t-a-ko2/p/41320

If you are re-geared, id get the larger ones. They are E rated as someone mentioned a post above.

Be prepared for lots of chopping of wheel liner and fender plastics. Also be prepared for a super aggresive CMC. Mine touches still at full lock on flat land.

Ive had a CMC already but am going back to get basically a new cab mount fabricated since there isnt any extreme CMC's available for 3rd gens yet

Oh yes the CM Relocate. Get some 3" square tube and fab a couple mounts up.
