I'm at the dealer right now waiting and no issues with having the TSB done. The service advisor already knew all about it and was super cool. Will keep everyone posted on feel afterwards.

I am one of the folks who also has the buzzy vibration in the gas pedal and steering wheel when accelerating and...the rumble strip vibration when coming to a stop (25mph - 0 mph). Anyone else having these issues in conjunction with their trans issue?

Sorry for your experience... I just got a card/flyer from Toyota reminding me that I had a free oil change/inspection/tire rotation at 5K. I have had the truck for 6 months. The flyer also stated I had services every 5K up to 25K. I think they called it ToyoCare or some sh!t like that. However, the offer is worthless to me as I have a great "indy" that does the changes/rotations for me. I use OEM Toyota filters, Mobil 0-20W synthetic, and he doesn't use that damn gun on my lug nuts and hand torques them to specs. The whole procedure runs total about $65. I know I could get this for free for the first 5 changes but I am 40 miles from the nearest dealer and I lose 1/2 of a day by the time I drive back and forth and wait for my turn at the dealership. I must applaud the dealer however has they have done all the minor fixes I became aware of on TW (rear door seal, transmission fluid check/fill, ECU transmission calibration, and (soon) front end creaking bushing replacement). The service writers and the tech that does my work at that dealership (not where I bought my truck) are great!

I agree fully with this. Unfortunately, it's the only dealership within a 40 mile radius so taking it to any others is illogical.

Well, my closest dealer is 15 miles... next one either north or south is 65 miles.....BUT, if that means they will treat me like I expect, then the local A-Hole don't get MY business....!!

I'll go the extra to not let assholes tough MY truck...!!

    Good luck...:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::canada::canada:

Made an online appointment to have mine done on the 28th. In the "Service Required" block I did the explaination and told them I would be bringing a copy of the TSB. They've been pretty good so far, so we'll see. They turned off my seatbelt chime with no questions.

I had the R-D lag really bad to the point where it kicked when it got into gear. That is now fixed. Whatever they did I like. I only did a few hundred miles on it yet so I do not know if the learning mode is done, but transmission has a lit easier time cruising at high speed. Shifting is smooth and power delivery seems better, but that may still just be the learning process. I have nothing negative to say about the fix.

Now they are keeping it overnight. The main foreman NOW knows about the low transmission fluid and is going to check it/fill it up, and also check the Ujoints and grease them up if necessary. They gave me a rental for free, since now they need to keep the truck overnight. Glad they are actually helping now.

Does anyone know what the T1 code stands for? Mine is showing "99" when everyone else's shows "26". It may be just a typo but just doing my due diligence since my invoice doesn't specify the TSB number like everyone else's. Any insight would be great!

Keeping mine overnight too. "Toyota modem problem" is what I was told. Rental provided for tonight at least.
    We'll see tomorrow!

Got mine done today. Its okay. Feels good. Not shockingly different. The delay was fixed definitely. The throttle does not feel as mushy anymore. A little tap goes a long way now. Overall it's more responsive but we'll see as I drive it more.

    Hey guys!

I tried to read all the 50 pages of the thread to don't ask the same question, but, does this applies to the 4 cylinder 6 AT??

Should I call Toyota corporate and double check?

Does anybody already did this to their 4 cyl?

    Thanks!!!

This flash has been out for the 4cyl for a while now, according to people here.

I just dropped mine off at the dealership. They are keeping it overnight, because apparently their techs are only there till 4. And also asked them to look into the squeaks... Will update tomorrow.

For now, i got a corolla that somehow managed to understeer on a lane change, ugh.

Had mine done today. It's definitely worth doing if one has the opportunity and the shifting was much smoother.

I had a 2016 Corolla while they repaired my actuator on the transfer case.

Had it about 2 weeks and I loved it. Ran great. Sun roof. Faux leather. Smooth. Fun to drive. Awesome mpg.

    What's not to like?

I told them to take their time fixing my truck...lol
