So I'm level 17 and haven't ever used any stardust. When should I start using the star dust?

 

I don't use it either. Don't have quite as much as you but I just hit level 16 today. Consensus around here lately has been to wait until you get to the 20s and start catching stronger wild pokemons to power them up

 

I'd say lvl 25+ , you'll find higher CP pokemon in the wild as you go higher in lvl. I am lvl 20 and am saving my stardust up

In for the BS. Can't wait to get back to Tallahassee and have more pokestops and gyms close by

 

Only 50k since at level 15 or so I was dumb and leveled up some higher CP pokemon but really they were weak compared to what I have now and not using any stardust

 

@tacopaulo has some you can have I'm only at 260

I'm an idiot and blew my stardust without looking at guides. At level 16, I have 12k stardust and saving that until at least 30 going forward. Makes me want to completely start over.

 

I feel your pain but you have a lot of room to earn more star dust

Went to the Americana where there are 10 pokestops if you walk a short loop around one side of the mall. I would had a lot more but my wife was, umm...

 

I would suggest going Monday through Thursday. The network on every carrier is Hella slow there on weekends
