Longtime creeping first time posting

Hello fellow humans of earth!

I've acquired my first tacoma and not just my first tacoma but my first truck and I love it. Its a 12 base 4wd 5spd 2.7, picked it up from a friend who could afford it anymore so it was a little bittersweet but glad it could go to a good home.

I have no immediate plans for it be sides paying it off, but of course I'm interested in the cool stuff like long travel and possibly swapping over to a 2jz or a 2gr, have a mechanical background just not on these engines (mainly been fooling around with rotary).

Looking forward to posting in the future and becoming part of the community. Already had a little bit of fun!

I've seen that just not a real big fan of those belt driven turbines, on a side note i have a f20c that ive been building for high boost im thinking about putting in just all comes down to time and expendable income. Are there any swap kits that are direct bolt that you know of? i.e. 1uz swap or maybe a ls? i cant seem to find any

 

So what kind of power does the URD get you 4banger guys up to?

according to their website, 117 rwhp before, then 250ish after.. I'd say that's pretty impressive considering the 1GR has 200ish to the wheels in stock form
