My personal best since I bought my Taco (10 months ago) was 385 miles from a tank, VA to NC, 90% highway, averaging 75-80 mph, no cruise control. I usually max out around 360 a tank from SC to FL with constant cruise control averaging 75-80 mph and 98% highway.

I bet you had a tail wind. I saw a 3mpg increase while towing today with a tail wind.

Shit. I'm lucky to see min hit 215 to a full tank. Then add the 8% for tire size difference

Why doesn't anyone factor that in? Your miles actually add up slower with bigger tires!

only 8200 miles on my truck but the worse i have got was 380. Best was 418.

I almost always fill up soon as the gas light comes on and it always takes right around 18 gallons to fill.

I believe the tank is actually 21 gallons in these 3rd gens.

Im not sure i understand? If you take the miles per tank and divide by the gallons it takes to refill won't you get an accurate mpg per tank average? Despite tire size?

I have a screen in my truck that list current mpg, and tank average MPG... But i still always reset the trip 1 odo after filling up to keep track and compare to the screens averages.

I mostly average 300-330 per tank due to city traffic. When I upgraded to 265s, my mileage took a crap. I won't go any larger...

No because once you increase tire size, your odometer would be off per trip by a certain percentage. That percentage would be the percent difference in tire size.

    Oh ok thanks man.

Do you get more miles than listed or less? I'm wondering if Larger tires put more miles on your truck than you're actually driving?

Lots of people complain about their mpg... After adding a lift and bigger tires... I always get over 20MPG but I'd be happy to have a lift and larger tires even if it dropped me from 20+ to 16+.

I keep debating on buying the 3" suspension lift from rough country for $250... People on here seem to be against the cheaper lifts but on military disability i can't afford the better lifts. So i constantly debate cheap lift or no lift.

More miles since my tires are bigger. I went from 18-20 MPG to 15-17 MPG

I would just keep saving for a better lift

Not sure, bigger tires on trucks actually have more miles then what Is shown. If lifted people want true mileage they have to add in the difference
