Yep! All my skids are RCI. Lower Control Arms, IFS, Mid, Transfer case, Fuel Tank, and Rear Diff Skid.

    Bumpers and Sliders are @Pelfreybilt

Nothing was immune on this trip. lol

Who says you can't wheel a long bed? Haha. It just makes things more difficult. But doable. image.jpgimage.jpg image.jpgimage.jpg image.jpg

I take my DCLB everywhere out here in the desert. Sure, there are some trails that are off limits but I can ride 95% of the rest. But I love my LB, cause I also mountain bike, surf (long board 9'+ boards), and paddle board (12+ paddle board). In addition, every so often I work around the house and I have been able to carry pallets of wood floor, and even forest bamboo. I do love my DCLB but to each his own, just be realistic with what you plan to carry in the truck bed and where you want to go.

Here is me going down to the Sand Dunes in Death Valley. A few people tall me my DCLB pre-runner would not make it and where surprised when it did without any issues.

The biggest issue that I had so far is that tail does drag so my next mod will be a high clearance rear bumper.

very cool. I'm new to offroading and adventure seeking in the wilderness so trying to learn my limits with my new to me prerunner. Bought the truck before I went off the road the first time. Trying to battle the urge to trade for a 4x4 before I lose value LOL. At just 71k miles for an 06 that I snagged at a really good price it's hard to part ways

No issues here. Love my trail limo!! My truck walked up the trail like a boss. 4.88's, 35's, and a rear locker make things a bit easier

Have lift parts on the way to carry the load i have in the truck now but for what i wheel in colorado, mild lift and 32" tires is more than plenty for me, I do wish i could afford some RCI skid plates though, just to keep those pesky rocks under the water crossings from doing damage

great photos! looks like a blast. in the second photo, did your rear end get banged up? Looks like it was close to dragging.
