Around 12ish I think. I was going to the gym and hopped up on pre-workout so I don't remember clearly but that is my gym time so had to be it

 

Looks like the servers are all back up and even Pokevision is working. Time to go hunting

 

I got snorlax my first day and havent seen one since

 

they are pretty rare, I have caught 2. one was random and the other i saw on pokevision near my house

 

And you didn't come get me?

 

What an hour...

So I just figured I would walk around with my dog and catch some trash pidgeys/rats/weedles and start prepping for my next mass evolve. Boy was I wrong...

Saw some Eevees nearby so I walked that direction and the first one I found was a 450ish with a dope arc and also happened to be my 25candy so I evovled that sumbeetch. Had to unname my old Rainer and then name the new one Rainer. Closed the app first before evolving. Worked great. Gave me a 1216 Rainer with 139 HP. I decided today was the day I was going to knock off the gym in my neighborhood. It was a level 5 but it's highest pokemon was a 900ish Magmar. It also had a 400ish Golbat, 600ish Pidgey and a 400ish Flarion.

I took that thing out eezee peezee with my new found Rainer. Took 4 battles as it was a level 5 gym but I won every one of them. On my last battle attempt this chick walked up and was standing opposite corner from me. Didn't know what she was doing then she started talking on the phone. Hung up and said 'you must not be team red' I said 'heeeeellll no.' She said she was trying to up her gym's prestige but it wasn't letting her. About that time I claimed the throne and stuck my beast Rainer on top. Then she asked to meet my dog . If I wasn't married.....pokemon go and chill?

On the walk back I found another Dratini but the highlight was the Omanyte I found. First one for me. Pokevision wasn't finding it for me even though it was in my nearby. Found a work around. If you see one in your nearby but don't see it on pokevision use the drop down and deselect all of them. Then just select the one you are looking for and research. Worked for me twice (the Omanyte and the Dratini).

I also hatched a 2k egg. Caterpie

I got home and was 288 xp away from lvl 17 so I evolved a weedle just to get over that hump

TLDR - lvl 17 now. Beasted a lvl 5 gym solo dolo. Found an Omanyte. Pokemon Go is the new tinder

What do I do while I'm on top of a gym? I have to collect something?

 

I'm not judging, because I'm simply jealous...but what do you do @ThunderCookies ??? You have so much time to play!!

 

You have to hold it for a certain time i think. Go to the store and in the top right there will be an icon to collect from.

 

what do you mean research? the venusaur I caught yesterday wasn't up when I looked on pokevision but it was in my nearby. Then it showed up on pokevision a few minutes later but didn't mess with the filter.

I hatched a nice Caterpie from a 2km egg

 

no you can collect right away but you can only collect once ever 21 hrs so I usually put two pokemon down at separate gyms then collect to get the loot but it isn't much

I work from home for a company out here in Research Triangle Park so when I am not busy I just walk around my neighborhood with my dog. A lot of my job I can do from my phone so I'm not stuck in front of a computer or at a desk all day. Pokemon Go sort of messes with that though since my phone is pretty much only used for this game now

yep just read that on reddit and checked. Collected my 500dust and 10 coins for today. Can do it again in 20hours I think (judging by the countdown)...

Can I put more than 1 pokemon at a single gym or can only 1 pokemon per trainer be at the same gym?

Well I'm jealous, because I'm stuck at a desk most days and nothing come to my office to catch like all these folks "look what I caught at my desk" crap lol.
