I've got the wires and everything from the power inverter ready to go, and my outlet should be here in a few days. However I do not have any air/power tools to make any cuts. Just wondering where and how everyone went about installing these. I've seen other threads of the finished products, but none of them were really a how-to. Thanks for the help guys!

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
A drill hole in each corner (even with a hand drill), a mini hacksaw with a fine blade, a sharp razor knife and a little caution, or some combination of all should do it easily. It's just plastic.

Not yet. Just moved to a new apartment recently so you know how that goes. Wouldn't hurt to pick up a spare drill in the meantime tho. Wondering if I can cut the back of the console with a razor knife

get yourself a smallish putty knife... as close in size as you can get for your outlets... use your heat gun from wrapping your carbon fiber to heat up the putty knife, push it through the plastic where you want the outlets...

Safer than using a razor knife ;) Plus fire :bananadead: (well almost)

I put mine on the side of the center console within a few inches of the passenger seat
