Bro-dozers, I'm about to say fuck this diet and start getting big and strong again.

Really I've just been craving something sweet lately. Right now, I'm contemplating going and getting a Reece's Blizzard from DQ...

    I feel like @zacharypaul89

Nah, people suck. Everyone always asks me why I'm doing it and bringing cakes and cookies and stuff around me to try to get me to eat it and telling me I need to live a little. I just ignore them.

Well didn't do so bad at the buffet. I usually leave a lot more uncomfortable. Tried to limit the carbs so I ate around the rice in the jambalaya and only had a few potatoe slices on the side. Mainly just at steak and catfish...which was deep fried in some dope breading...

    But then dessert happened...

Just weighed in at 169. That's 5lb since 4:00 :bananadead:

They had this peanut butter layer pie tonight. It was basically a frozen Reese's cup with ice cream on top. Had 2 slices:hungry:

Have to agree on the support. My wife gets jealous of me if you can believe that. Ironically she nagged me for years about my habits and how it would hurt me

Never tried them (or heard of them) before. Is their stuff any good? Seems pretty pricey.

    Country club, huh?

Same here, man. Most of my friends workout, but they're all fat and you can't tell they lift by looking at them and they have no idea what to do when it comes to dieting. They all pound beers and eat like shit all weekend, which I'm slowly trying to remove myself from because it's hindering progress so much. People at work are the same way, too...they eat like shit all day and none of them workout.

Same. How tall are you again?

Yeah, now that I'm starting to see results and starting to realize how much I spin my wheels when I kick ass during the week just to throw it all away on the weekends, I've started acting better on the weekends and it's showing. I can still hang out with my friends and family who all eat like shit and they give me hell, but I just keep thinking of the end-goal.

Same, man. I want to bulk so bad, but I talked to one of the old-school guys at the gym Tuesday who is in his 50's and is still pretty big and shredded. He said 2 things that made me want to keep cutting:

    1. Everybody wants to lift heavy weights, but I'm just here to look good naked
    2. What the fuck is the point of having all those muscles if nobody can see them!?

I've gotten to the point where being lean is priority #1 for me right now. Of course, I still want to be yugggge, but like the OG at my gym said, there's no point in being big if you look like a fat slob.

The point is to be strong as fuck. I don't see a point in looking strong if you're not strong.

Its not like fat is helping you move the weight. You can be strong and lean.

I didn't say I wanted to give the illusion that I'm strong when I'm not. I want to be big and strong, but I think being big and strong is stupid if you're fat because my overall goals is aesthetics, not powerlifting. I know powerlifters only worry about mass, so being fat isn't an issue, but that's not my goal. I want to look good on the beach....and be strong....while not being fat.

Yeah, I can't remember all the times I've been at the bar and a chick comes up and goes, "Man, you're huge! Can you lift a car?"

As much I love the idea of my heart stopping in my sleep, ill stick to a smaller/functional size and watch these big guys lift a car. I'll be happy as long as I can lift the box of books when it comes time to move houses.

All gainz have been lost this week. We spent 2 nights in key west and both involved a lot of margaritas.
