Day off...Changed the PCV valve, then went and picked up some Ultimate Liquid Wax, but for that price I decided to bite the bullet and run the clay bar over her for the first time in many, many years.

I was not disappointed in the results, and can now safely say that most 13 year old humans are worse looking than my 13 year old truck.

Welp i have an intermittent stiff brake pedal and no AC. Possibly a sticking caliper too. Awesome.

I installed a new brake booster a few months ago, sad that it seems to be going out already.

Flushed my PS and put an inline filter on to hopefully fix the whine. Sadly it didn't. And then topped off all fluids and packed all my tools for a trip this weekend. :woot:

I'd really like to clay bar my truck. What are you supposed to put on it after you use the clay bar?

Just one from the local auto parts store. Forget the brand.

    Ok, need some opinions.

Now that I have the back suspension of my truck done, I need to finish the front.

What ucas would be the best in your opinion. I live in Utah, so there's salt, sand, dust, rust, all that good stuff. I think when I get my kings rebuilt, hopefully this fall, I'll have them take the bumpstop things out and make them extended travel (I think that's a thing????)

Soo really the question is, in your opinion, uniball or ball joint?

realistically ball joints would be ideal since there sealed. but if you keep uniball joints clean and put little bit extra grease so it acts like a barrier for all that salt. I think you'll be fine but I haven't owned a pair of uniball UCAs yet. I live in Indiana so I'm just as worried in terms of the environment conditions they'll be exposed to. Would suck to drop $800 on some TC UCAs and have to replace them every two years or so.
