Guys.... I caught another snorlax

 

Someone posted a do-it yourself map that people were updating but it was pretty incomplete last I looked. I wish pokevision had them...

He was near my house this time lol. I called Ida and she ran out and drove tothe same spot muahahaha now she got her first snorlax.

 

I found out where pikachu spawns in SF...I'm not taking the game seriously enough to go get one though. Even though I drive by it everyday.

 

The one I just caught has the highest cp. Maybe today is snorlax day or something.

 

The timer starts when you collect and won't change even if your pokemon gets kicked off.

 

Found a gym with a weak Lapras so I went to take it and a fellow Mystic player had already taken it so I added my Arcanine. Someone from Instinct started taking it so I leveled up a few times. Then just said screw it and let them take it. Right when they took it I put this on it

Then they took it again and they put a 1100 Flareon and 1300 Arcanine which I easily destroyed with a Vaporeon. Put my Slowbro on it and left lol

 

Do you have to do anything special when fighting at a gym to use the more powerful attack? I was just tapping the other Pokemon like crazy to win. Not sure if it was doing different attacks or not. All my hits said "super effective" while the ones on me always said "not very effective"...

 

Once the bars fill up under your HP, hold down on the enemy pokemon and you will do your special attack. Sometimes it does a lot depending if your pokemon is good against the enemy pokemon type

 

Just caught the weakest third evolution I've ever seen

that and the weakest second evolution I've seen, my raichu lol

 

Ok I'll try that tomorrow. My Vapereon was a beast today and 2 of the 4 pokemons I was fighting were fire so I bet using the water gun attack would've done some damage to those. I haven't been back to see what's on that gym now and it's just a bit outside my range from my house to be able to click on it from here to see

 

I've noticed that it doesn't matter where you tap to attack or hold down for special attack as long as you're tapping or holding on your phones screen, you don't have to hold on the enemy pokemon

 

For regular attack I was hitting directly on the other pokemons chest or face and all my hits were "super effective" I don't know if that made the difference but it seemed to work

 

I'm cooking and this fucker pops up

 

Attacks will always be super effective if your pokemon's type is a strength over the pokemon you are fighting, ie. water vs. fire

 

Went to my first gym tonight. Promply had my ass handed to me!
