What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

The clay bar is used to remove impurities and contamination like tar, bug guts, tree sap and what not, the stuff washing usually misses. Once you knock that out you just finish up with a wax of your choice. So instead of a wash and wax, you just add the extra step of using the clay bar in-between.

 

I'm going to wait till I repaint my truck before I clay bar. How I see it why clay bar and wax when your paint is chipped scratched and clear coat is fading away. First gen paint problems

id die. dont think its ever been that hot here before. no ac isnt much of a problem.

 

Here in Indiana we been facing 90* with a real feel of 110* I don't mind dry heat but I hate humidity lol makes our trucks thirstier and us humans as well

Whenever I clay bar I just use extra soap in my bucket to act as lubricant for the clay. Wash an area, go over it with the clay, then wash again.

Washing, rinsing, then using a quick detailer as lubricant and having to wash again is pointless.

 

And I could run extended travel shocks with these? That's really all that'd stop me

I wish I had the know how to install the stereo I've had in my room for 6 months now, is it as easy as buying a plug? Or is it splicing tons of different color coordinated wires together, @m3bassman sorry I know nothing of stereos, but I tried to install mine And it was a mess..

No, none better than OEM CVs. However, they are expensive.

Have you looked at CVJs? Remaned OEM. Might as well be brand new internally and you can upgrade the boots.
