Ok first sanity check. Is the seatbelt clipped in that plastic piece that it can slide into that is mounted on the pillar. If it isn't you can hear the buckle rattle against the pillar under certain cirumstances.

Aren't you thinking of the B pillar? The A pillar is between the windshield and front window, and as far as I can recall has no relation to the seatbelts.

I hope you mean remove the COVER, and not the actual pillar.
To remove the actual pillar, you will need a sawzall or a cutting torch.

Yes, but it was just a first pass check as a common source of rattling. The A pillar trim has airbags. That seems like a pretty interesting risk/job to want to tackle for a truck under warranty

If its anything like the 2nd gens, there should be a couple 10mm bolts hidden behind a couple access covers. Check these two out:
    2nd gens:

Don't worry about the airbags. They are self contained, just don't go poking around with a knife or a sharp object. The first link I posted shows how they are mounted inside the a-pillar.

Also the rattling you are hearing is more than likely some wires in the harness that runs through there. They are sometimes loose and will vibrate against the plastic cover. Electrical tape or zip ties should secure them and quiet the noise you are hearing.
