I'm running Yankee Hill tomorrow for the first time (and my first real time off road for that matter). Should I run it East to West or the other way around? And will I be ok in a stock 4x4 Tacoma?

 

Might be best to run it counter clockwise and take a left at the fork and go down the hill, as long as you pick your lines right and dont be stupid you should be fine.

It's why I specifically state in the ad, "if you see this post, it's still for sale."

Then I just delete the emails that ask, "is this still for sale" because there's only two outcomes: 1. It's a scam. 2. They're not someone I want to deal with at all, even if they have cash in hand.

Progress happened. And it started like this. Finished after dark and my camera doesn't take night pictures anymore after i roasted it.

Looks good. I really want one again, i used an eezi awn for a short time and it was fantastic to have. The whole not needing support legs part was the best.

Interesting... Unfortunately this will just cause those involved to flee from traffic stops (more than they already do) in the future in fear of having their bikes seized. Which, is a fine self correcting error until they hurt innocent people.

Yup. Its just unfortunate that they sold their "protest" or whatever they call it as a ride to unite and bring attention to all motorcyclists. Obviously they only hurt the cause.

In FL, the LAWMAKERS changed some fines on violations (having a license plate mounted vertically instead of horizontally) to a $1k fine and usually that was not passed down to the LEO on the streets until after it had changed. Didnt help anything. Same thing with wheelies, they created/adjusted the statute to be a $1k+ fine, which only caused more issues. Unfortunately the ones who make the rules are so far detached from the real world to make a difference.

 

When I lived in MD, there was a no-pursuit policy for motos. Some friends took advantage of it but on the contrary, I feel like some of the guys that would mess with cops, did so less b/c they know they wouldnt get chased. Which sometimes is the goal..

 

when I was living in GA, they just didn't play games. If you were riding like a dick, endangering other people, etc, the GSP would chase you to your death. sometimes literally. I heard so many police heli horror stories from buddies I rode with. Perhaps that's why I started getting into track days when I moved from MD to GA
