So I still have about 4 more hours before I can collect gym rewards again (I am currently not on top of any gyms)...

Is the strategy to try and get on as many gyms as possible at once and then collect since you can only do it once a day? If I go to the gym in my neighborhood and win it and then claim I've used my one for the day. If I went down the street after that and took another I would be wasting it since I couldn't collect on it until tomorrow, right? And I probably wouldn't stay atop it long enough...

So I was thinking I would try and drive around and hit as many as possible that are within the 5sq mile area around my house and then claim with how ever many I am on at that point. Rinse, Repeat once a day and load up on dust/coins...

I bike around my neighborhood and it works, but there are lengths it doesn't count. Usually down hill when I am going pretty fast. If I am on flat ground or uphill it gets it. I am also usually rolling pretty slow because I am trying to catch a pokemons and not fall off my bike at the same time

What kind of bike are you riding?

If you're on a road bike, I doubt it would log all the miles. If you're on a mountain bike, you have a higher chance since you're usually going slower. Also, the path you bike makes a big difference.

 

Just get on 2 or 3 gyms then collect

 

it is a mountain bike. I've got a speedometer on it. I keep it around 10mph and just coast around. Downhill though, can't do much about momentum...

 

Firedawg has been going strong on a gym for 14 hrs

 

I'm surprised a vaporeon or slowbro hasn't shut him down yet. Fire types don't last long at gyms here.

 

Well there is a good variety, I leveled the gym up to 7 then added my dawg

 

different story for this one though, woke up this morning and the gym was taken over. But it is already back to blue lol
