Has anyone done Kris Gethin's "plates of pain" shoulder routine? I like a lot of stuff he does and might try to give it a shot next time I do shoulders.

Ya'll ever heard of a spell caster? I did these at the end today (shoulder day and I did abs at the end). Got some weird looks but damn it felt good...

Your lady wants her some Arm Candy Props to you and the rest of the fellas who are doing their best to get "lean". Aside from my body pretty much not letting it happen, no way I could mentally do it. I love eating food and a lot of it entirely too much.

 

I told my wife I was trying to put on weight once to 'bulk up' and she got pissed at me. She definitely wants her arm candy to be lean. So, I'll just keep being forever small

 

Same problem with food...I have next to no self-control...I am getting a little better though.

Same here, man. I told her I could do it slowly over time and if I started getting chunky, she'd let me know. We agreed. If I can ever get down to 185 (was 194 yesterday morning), I'm gonna bulk at like a 300 calorie surplus.

My wife has always been really supportive of whatever the fuck I wanted to do. Actually, when we met, I was in the worst shape of my life and had been out of the gym for almost 4 years. Her support played a huge part in me getting back into lifting and going to law school.

Same. When my wife and I met, I was 140 lbs soaking wet. I looked like a telephone pole.

Ha no bumper plates here! And I have a beard! And I do powerlifting workouts (squats, ohp, deads, etc.)...I just do them for more than 5 reps. Getting strong and building muscle is paramount to me, I just want to do it while staying lean.

 

What about us bearded mo-fos?

 

I love a man with a beard...although I can be a little ticklish when it rubs against my inner thighs.
