    I used a used stock 5spd boot that i bought. I superglued it to the inside of the rectangle i cut in the center console. It wasnt going to win any beauty contests, but it worked.

    Yeah I am going for that first picture. I know the knob is a pain. But I never need on the fly shifting that a dual case provides. My fJ is the real wheeling rig. I just like the taco for creature comforts like ac when wheeling.

    I had Wyatt build me a one piece for my 2nd gen. I figured id order one from him so I have a driveline as I do my install. Then ill send the front in. this way I can drive it right away even though I won't have 4wheel drive.

    From what ive heard one piece drive lines are nice but i know the two piece drive lines are way more forgiving in the rocks.

    Browsing the interweb and stumbled onto this.

    Appears to be just the adapters and then gives you the option to build your own crawlbox.
    Considering following this path (TG adapter kit, junkyard tcase, Marlin gears.)
    I mean adapters are adapters right?

    Thoughts?

    @HomerTaco @PSU Taco85 is your front case 2.28 or 4.7 ?
    Looks like a difference of 80:1 or 165:1 respectively, looking for real world experience.

    My crawl box is 2.28 and tcase is 4.7. Perfect combo. Double low is perfect in my opinion when in a hard spot.

    From all my research prior to doing the mod 4.7 was the way to go.

    Same here, though I'm still waiting on mine. I like the idea of having three different gearing options (2.57, 4.7, 12.1).
