I too am a fan of all-caps and run-on sentences. Someone will chime in with some suggestions, but your post was hard to read.

HELLO YOU COULD LOOK AT BUYING RETROFIT COMPONENTS AND DOING A QUALITY BIXENON SETUP USING YOUR STOCK HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES IF YOU ARE MECHANICALLY INCLINED AND HAVE SOME KNOWLEDGE OF BASIC AUTOMOTIVE WIRING OR YOU COULD GET AHOLD OF A COMPANY LIKE BLACK FLAME CUSTOMS THAT SPECIALIZES IN RETROFITS AND WOULD PROBABLY INCLUDE NEW HOUSINGS IN THE PRICE. Sorry, couldn't help myself. :D

On a serious note, drop in LED bulbs aren't really useful in low beam reflectors. I actually liken the act of driving with HID or LED bulbs in a reflector housing in the same light (pun) as punching your own Grandma in the face. There is so much glare and scatter that the space station operators have to wear sunglasses at night to avoid blindness when you go for a cruise. I promise you this. If you spent the dough on a set of aftermarket housings with Morimoto D2S 3.0 bix projectors and some quality Morimoto 50w ballasts and some CBI bulbs, you would actually believe you had night vision like the Predator. That setup just plain works. If the D2S doesn't fit, the Mini H1 would still make you think you had stadium lighting on your truck! DAYLIGHT, MAN, DAYLIGHT!

There's actually a few OEM reflector housings designed for HIDs. Certain late 90s and early 2000s Mercedes models had the option of HIDs from the factory. Saleen made HID reflectors for 05-09 Mustangs. And some OEM Jeep Wrangler headlight housings seem to have been designed for HIDs but Jeep decided to stick halogens in them in the end (the housings performed better with HIDs than with halogens). Of course, none of this applies to Tacomas.

Are you aware of any site which may have pre-built headlight configurations similar to this?

I am not aware of any quality aftermarket prebuilt units. Best bet is to get some TYC assemblies like these and have them retrofitted by someone who knows what they are doing. Hit up HIDPlanet, register, and start a thread over there looking for retrofit help and you will get recommendations and suggestions. If you're handy, you can perform the retro yourself. The parts are easy to get from TheRetrofitSource.com.

Headlight assembly - 67 bucks new.

Thanks for the very fast response. I'll have to give it a look.

Yea, the link you provided was for the Right headlight assembly for $101, or maybe you had some sort of discount? But after visiting the site I did find other options but need to investigate which ones would be the better option. I want decent materials, not crap since I'm sinking in a few bucks. I have purchased not too long ago from RockAuto and so far I'm impressed with them.

Also, I'm pretty mechanically inclined and I'm going to price out the parts and see what the costs will be. I will then purchase the headlight assemblies. Next, wait for the Morimoto V4's to come out in a few months. I'm not sure if I will purchase those or the V3's but I'm getting serious about it.
