    any idea how long it takes to get to the top? It sounds good but I don't want to get stuck driving up the trail in the dark since I'll be going up in the evening

    Absolutely. Everything I list can be accessed in a stock vehicle (I'm usually accompanied by a stock 3rd Gen 4R and a stock Jeep LJ).

    -Pickle Gulch. http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=47
    There's a huge valley up and to the left about fifteen minutes into the trail just past the big hill climb, a variety of spots along the trail, and endless opportunities at the top.

    -Meadow Creek Reservoir. US Forest Road 129 starts just after you exit Hwy 40 and roll past the residential block. You can camp along the creek basically at the trailhead, roll up the hill to one of the spots in the first clearing, head all the way up to the reservoir, or spur south on 129 2A and find a spot hidden back near the ridge.

    This one is a fun drive up an immediate hill climb, and then through the trees. The prime spot is a huge cutout to the right at the fork in the trail.
    If you want to get some more trail time, a stock truck can carefully take the left track for the Washoe Gulch spur (my co-worker tackled it in his stock '16 O.R.), and a mild lift will let you bounce through without as much pause for finding the right line. It is a giant rock garden with a primo spot on the left side of the trail. Alternatively, take the right fork for a much more mild ride and continued opportunities. Both will end up connecting to...

    Amazing views of the St. Mary's neighborhood. Camp at the very top (stay in the trees to avoid the wind), or take Sheridan Hill into the trees and camp out along the way. Awesome network of trails.
