I always carry chains when wheeling in the snow, never used them in mud. I have not run a trail that has enough mud to even think of chains.

 

Well that hail storm on the south side of the Springs gave me about 15 dents in the roof and 5-6 on the hood they're not very big but still.

 

Oh man that sucks!!!!

 

Anyone ever try the glue-type paintless dent removal tools?

My deductible for insurance is $1,000. Probably won't hit that or would just barely if I take it into a shop.

 

Someone I can't remember who posted about paintless dent repair shop...
I dropped my comprehensive deductible to 500$ just for the hail factor

Yeah, they did my front panel dent a couple years ago. They did a really good job it was pricey. I might just wait until the summer ends and then get it fixed. Or maybe even wait until school's done in two years and then get it fixed. I'm sure it's not the last hail storm the truck will see.

I didn't even see anything coming! We left the house and went out to eat and as soon as we sat down with our food I could see it smacking in the parking lot. I was like "HAIL. BIG!" I watched the food while dad went across the parking lot and hid up on the SEARS sidewalk under their overhang I was worried about my truck. Went back and neighbor had blankets all over her car. My trucks alarm never went off though and had no dents. I think we just barely got the edge of it.

Hmmm that would be nice meeting everyone face to face for once! And plus anything to get me out of doing this, this weekend. May be some of folks can knock some sense in me, beer can do miracle things to any human being

 

Well fuck... would you like to adopt someone? I hear thats one of the few ways to get that Canadian Citizenship stuff. I've been working on my yooper accent and might need to GTFO pending the coming election.

 

Had some good hail in Golden. Mostly pea sized with a few golf ball'ish size thrown in the mix to keep you on your feet. A neighbor said he saw some torn up cars a bit further east.
