Nice. So question for you. I know you off road but it does not look like you are running sliders. Have you considered sliders and what are your thoughts on them? I have thought about doing some off roading and wondered how necessary they are to protect the rocker panels.

There would be sliders on the truck by now had I not had health issues in the past year. Even with insurance, I ended up with over $17,000 worth of bills. Kinda cut into my truck mod money.....Will be adding Trail Gear bolt on sliders ASAP.

Most people want sliders right after they really needed them for the first time....I'm hoping to get ahead of the curve on that.

Oh boy, 115 way too hot for me. Really nice truck, wish they had those wheels on our Limiteds in Canada, but unfortunately we get sport wheels. Welcome, and enjoy the forum. Still, jealous about your truck and those wheels.

@US Marine-They are made for 1st gen double cabs! Look at Softopper.com or call 800-810-7227 in Boulder, Co. I bought mine used, on a recommendation from @CVYota, for $250 from someone up in Big Bear. So far I'm really liking it, very convienent. I live in OC and the seller was going to Knott's the week he advertised it-I met him there on the way home from work. It was listed in the buy/sell/trade section of this forum, opportunities to separate you from your monies are everywhere. It is dark now but if you want a pic I could get one this weekend, or in an hour you could drive to my house (north OC)!

Raining right now, supposed to stop mid-morning and the heat and humidity is supposed to bump down a notch. I hope so as it's been kicking my azz lately.

Anyone with a 2nd gen. ever have trouble with A-pillar covers?
Think the heat is getting to mine and the plastic is breaking down. Getting sticky like fly paper.

    No Mike.
Stopped using stuff like that years ago as it used to "haze " the glass on my other vehicles.
If anything, a swipe of windex when I clean the windows. That's about it.
but, but, but, I have to touch it now...because it's there.

Oh I know how that is. Like picking at a scab.
I have seen this on different trim parts. I have no explanation.
