Meeting this morning with ol' two face.....I got very explicit orders to have a full crew on board for several events we had earlier this summer even if it meant a lot of overtime. Now the budget is off kilter and it's all MY fault for working the crew too much overtime. One of my employees just bought a house. Literally closed on it this week. He was told his job was secure and permanent. And now I'm getting orders to lay him off.....even though I REALLY need him here on the staff.....

Is there a "kick me" sign on you? Dam that is so so not right. The other guy will go ballistic if he hears that info.

I guess it's about time I join this thread, I'm 51 and have owned five Tacoma trucks in the last 30 years, two still in the driveway.

Here's my 04 SR5 DCAB 4X4 with 150k miles that I recently sold to my son,

    Here's my 2016 TRD OR

Loved all my trucks, especially the tan ones.

Yep, CBI bolt on sliders and each have a UWS toolbox. The 04 is also running 5100s with 265/65/16 tires with the Ivan Stewart Tundra wheels, the 16 is stock suspension.

I recently stuck the OR wheels on the 04 just so the son's truck looks different than how I drove it.

This guy's M.O. is to prey on those who actually give a shit.....He seems to think if he puts our gonads in a vice and turns the screw far enough, we'll find a way to do his dirty work while he plays innocent to the board of directors. Well....I just had a long conversation with the single most influential board member we have. We'll see what happens next. Meanwhile, I'm about 98% sure I'm about to walk away from a job I've had for 27 years just 6 days before my 59th birthday....What a time to be starting over, huh?

    Thanks for the welcome all!

@CVYota ill tell you where it hurts...

hurts watching the son ding up the truck I sold him. I had it for 12 years and it looked great the day I turned it over to him, 120 days in his pocession and we have a dented rear bumper and have to pull the front bumper out to quit rubbing the driver front tire. Claims he got brake checked and stopped in the nick of time. Reminded him people only brake check tailgaters and to back the hell off following people so close.

Other than that I got nothing, life has been pretty good for me, retired military after 22 years and now working in the Civil Service. Still in decent shape and an active mountain biker and paddleboarder.

Pressure is between 32 and 35 all the way around. These tires just suck.

I've been looking for an excuse to get Destination AT, but there is plenty or tread life left. Guess I'll just bite the bullet and ditch them.
