I posted a while back about trying to get a job on base out there and got the word yesterday that I was accepted for the position. Just waiting on the email for my start date and orders to have my move paid for. Hope to be there by end of the year.

Growing up I dated a girl who got a M5 for her 16th bday. Wrapped it around a tree 3 months later. Got a 7 series after that.

Yeah, I have some friends out in the waddell/surprise area that we have visited fairly often over the years so I've noticed the changes going into the area from Vegas. Just not familiar with all the other areas anymore. I really only remember where the chic-fil-a is cause we always go there since there isn't one here, lol.

 

I was loaded I wouldn't buy a child anything like and expensive house or car. Even if they had great grades and a full ride scholarship to college I would wait until they graduated college before they had that kind of reward. You're not doing any favors for anyone by giving them things like that.

Definitely a good girl to date though haha. My ex's Dad had a 1st gen Tacoma supercharged, exhaust, Kings, meth injection. Everything. And only 25k miles. It was a good time

 

I knew a girl back in highschool who got a brand new 2001 mustang for her 16th and totaled it 3 weeks later. On the 4th week the dealership rolled out their 2002 models and she got a 2002 GT. Only nice car at my highschool that I respected was a friends 1967 Camaro SS. He bought the car when he was a freshman and spent the next 3 years restoring it with his dad's help and was finally able to start driving it our senior year. Man was it nice.

 

Whenever I go on leave back to Alabama or Florida I easily spend over $100 on chic-fil-a while I'm there. Just eat it until I can't stand it anymore so I'll be ok when I come back, lol. I do the same thing with Yueng Ling black and tans.
