well...it was a shitty plastic valve, but the cold weather over the weekend apparently started it cracking, then it finally went....im guessing monday afternoon/evening sometime.

normally,i would have been able to fix it......but as it was almost dark, and i didnt have a new valve or the crimp tool......i had to let them do it.

 

REally? Didn't know they'd do that... I'll keep that in mind if I ever need it.

Good thing you went outside... or who knows how much water would have flowed away.

 

yeah...froze up and busted. i doubt it's anything long term......it was irrigation pipe valve that busted......still on the main line, but didnt affect anything in the house.

 

damn Will, that sux royal ass.

 

i know it.....now i wish i had went around that side of the house on monday after work. may have caught it sooner.

 

yeah....i was a pretty pissed off redneck yesterday....especially after the one plumber i called didnt want my business. said he didnt wanna have to kneel in the water.....and that was after i told him i was evacuating the water with my water pump.

 

Hopefully you have the new valve covered since it's gonna be a litte chilly this weekend. You guys might even get some snow tomorrow night... Doubt I'll get any I'd like some once this year
