Just let me know if I can be of assistance w/ pictures and such. So far my modded flares are working out beautifully. Only rubbed a handfull of times out on the trails . Tires stuff perfectly underneath. The way I did them I opted for the smaller bolts hiding under the flare. But my other idea was to use longer bolts with rubber washers outside the flare

Thanks, Rob! I'll definitely hit you up as the process moves along. I picked up some cut down bumps tops from @TimF yesterday, so I'm hoping I end up with plenty of room when it's all done. When I get to the flares, I'll bug you for some close-ups, since you did such a kickass job on those!

So halfway through this week, and no movement on the truck. Work is just too crazy right now, and I'm trying to console myself with the thought of all of that overtime/double time money. To be honest, I'd much rather have the time to work on my truck and catch up on some other shit that needs attention.

    We'll see how tomorrow goes.

Thanks Jacob! I'm already looking forward to doing the rear shock relocation, but the Billies will get me by in the meantime.

Your truck is looking awesome as well! Super jealous of the SC!

One more long day today, and then I have all weekend to hack away at my firewall and fenders. Tomorrow can't come soon enough.

Hahah I actually had some confusion with that too. Just moved it out of the way and hoped to miss it with the grinder

    Hey, @Robmonster117 and @cynicalrider!

Were you guys able to keep the front kick panel clip when you tubbed, or did you have to cut past it? I'm to the point now where I'm almost against the bump, but I'd need to go beyond that clip to get there. Thanks in advance!

Mine got cut out, and I had to trim the kick panel to fit the new floor.

Thanks, Tim. I just decided to cut past it figuring that the kick panel would have to be reworked anyway at that point. Did you rig anything up to give the panel another attachment point up front?

How far did you end up going again? I'm probably gonna take out the entire concave section, and I thought you had said that you did about the same.

Another thing to note with the 315s, 3.5BS wheel, etc.: The tire does indeed rub the frame at full lock, just like @Blackdawg said it would (go figure ).

My 1" BORA spacers should arrive by mid-week, so we'll see if that helps, since it will put me at 2.5" total backspace. I foresee some possible rubbing issues toward the front of the front fenders on the opposite side at that point, but that can be dealt with.

    Looking forward to today!

Once I get my lawn mowed, it's back to the grind. Literally. I do need to hit the hardware store for more cutoff wheels, and maybe a face shield. Went through four wheels yesterday, and I still have work to do on that side. I don't anticipate needing that many for the driver side, since I kinda whittled away at everything yesterday. Today I'm gonna cut most of it out at once similar to the passenger side, then fine tune it.

If I can get the cutting done today, I'll be happy. If I can get the finish grinding done, and cardboard templates made for the sheet metal, I'll be thrilled.
