I might try & catch a ride with someone coming from OC if there is one, that way I can concentrate on just getting photos of all you guys

 

I posted a trip report where the guys towed the 2wd drive guy thru some of the sections he could not make. This 2wd drive looked to be full mid travel with a locker though. But like @dtaco06 said the regular pilot rock trail is super fun. Exactly like Cleghorn for about half of it with the black diamond side trails. Check google maps just north and to the east of Silver wood lake and youll see the trail.

You can also park at staging area right by the lake and jump in one of our trucks.Your welcome to join me. Its 20 feet from the trail entrance at the north east of Silverwood Lake off the 173.

I've got a friend of mine coming that I'm going to designate photo duties too, haha. I'll snap some photos as well but I'll have him take stuff while we're riding. I think I'm going to have to be primarily focused on making sure my truck doesn't overheat lol

I added a bottle of Purple Ice to my coolant this week so we'll see how it holds up

I live in La Habra, but I've got a friend actually coming with me this time. I usually roll solo.

 

Wait... Is @digitaLbraVo coming? If Denny is coming and his girl isn't, that may be an option. La Habra is much closer than Northridge or where the trail meets up. Not that I'm trying to volunteer anyone's rig or anything. @Nicklovin

Also, there's this which I'm going to. I'm Greg btw. Unsure if this is a 2wd friendly event. I'm sure 2wds are cool to chill @ camp, etc but I haven't ran the trails mentioned yet so unsure of the trails being 2wd friendly. John Bull I know for sure is advanced skill 4x4.

 

August 14th is wrench day for a few of us at OPs place, gotta beat my pinch weld into submission and remove my sway bar...among other little things
