I'm ready for this. Gotta get everything together tonight and hopefully get my oil changed, but may just take care of that in the morning...

What should I get? They are already greased from the last owner, he said to just give them a couple squeezes.

Hm, I forgot you bought them from somebody. I used Mobil 1 grease I got at autozone for the bushings and fittings on mine I think. The uniball needs no grease UNTIL it becomes an issue with making noise then it's some kind of specific dry grease or something. That's what my TC instruction book said.

Yes, but it's easier to fish out 18$ to have someone do it and 15 other things to my vehicle haha.

True, but I run Mobil 1 every 5k and it's easier to do it in my garage.

Several years ago, a friend of mine lost an engine in her '02 4Runner, following a Firestone oil change. There was no way for her to "prove" they did anything wrong, and the car was just outside of warranty. I was deployed at the time and was unable to do anything to help her in that situation.

Oh yeah, I bring my own oil/filter and whatnot. I stand there and watch them do the work too.

Not sure you need anything that specific. I have some Red and Tacky #2 grease in a gun already if you want.

@TheTacoma the red and tacky will be ok. However you need this Energy Suspension 9.11104 Formula 5 Prelube Grease - 8 oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CN7B4I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_sQ9Mxb8FK5QPQ
It is a pre lube that you put on your bushings. It is recommended by energy suspension to do before install. If you don't have any I have some you can borrow and bring back in case Brian doesn't have any or the other guys who are going. Also when you install the UCA's make sure you assemble it all then once it is all assembled tighten everything down. Do not tighten your main thru bolt until it is at full droop. And only a pump or two of grease in the grease gun will be needed. You do not want it to blow out. Just simply bulge a little. And do not forgot that after you get back from Huntsville to jack up the truck and verify everything is tight again. It's close enough to 100 miles for the 100 mile check. Mine were fine no issues. But it's your life and possibly your families life so why risk it? Other than that. Have fun and enjoy your new sports car. Because it freaking handles like a corvette after the UCA's

Hopefully the info above helps. Do not do not do not! Put any kind of grease no matter what anyone says on your uniball. I had to deal with icon after the stud on my UCA broke when I was tightening down my speed sensor. And the big thing the guy told me when I was talking to him who was awesome to deal with they shipped me a new UCA and bearing overnight along with a. T shirt and stickers to boot. Was that the bearing for the uniball is a non serviceable item and that it is $76 for the pair for new bearings and that about every 40-50k miles you will need to put new ones in. And that you simply place them in a press with a big socket and press them out and use a copper based anti seize to install them and that is only to make them easier to get out at your next service interval. @TheTacoma do you have the dust caps for the UNiballs? If not I have a Spair set that I accidentally ordered 2 sets when I did mine. PM me if you want them. I think I paid the $35 for them so that's what will take them.

I have the grease that came with my new light racing bushings. Not at the house at the moment, so can't check exactly what it is. I believe it is similar to what Derrick is talking about, but I'll snap a pic and post when I get home.

So I guess we are looking at 8:30 for you guys to start arriving? Let me know if you need the address again. Chris, if you still have my number, shoot me a text when you get on 36.
