Taking my truck in to have the window seals replaced, might be just a bad design. Have you guys tried cracking the window on the freeway, the windows wabble all over the place.

Try this, roll down the windows half way, and wiggle the window, the weather stripping isn't even touching the window, when offroading they wobble all over the place.

Please take you trucks in if you have this issue and start complains with Toyota, this is just bad design and needs to be addressed.

Come on Toyota it's not 1932.....

Is it just mine or all of yours like this?

Dunno. Live in Texas, windows are always up and A/C on. But there's no play in the windows when I crack them halfway for the dogs, and they lean against them.

You don't? That's strange...my SR5 came with the (optional and less expensive) manual window hand cranks. I can easily remove them to keep my grand kids from f****** with the windows. I also ordered the (optional and less expensive) block of wood to replace the parking brake. Why pay for all those extras we don't really need or use like CaptAmerica wrote.

Taking it into the dealer is not the way to get Toyota to notice it. You HAVE to call corporate and make a claim/get a case number. That is the primary way they collect data. If you go to a dealer and they dealer says "sorry, they all do that" or "sorry, there isn't a fix for anything like this in the system" nothing happens. If they don't physically remove the seals and deal with Toyota themselves or have an engineer out there riding in the vehicle, Toyota will never hear of the problem. Toyota doesn't go around to all the dealers asking what people are complaining about. They don't get official data from websites like tacomaworld or from complaints on blogs/reviews. People need to call the number on the website to file a formal complaint. Then they gather the data and it is sent to engineering management which uses a certain set of criteria to determine which issues need to be addressed and in what order.

So in short, call the number.

Toyota put a/c in my SR5, I see no need to roll the windows down. My truck also has a "vent" for those days I don't need the a/c I can still get fresh air without the windows being down. Imagine that!
