Ask yourself: "does it pass the smell test?" Invoice is $37,k and the dealer's OTD price is only $500 more. How much is TT&L in Missouri? No TDA, either? With trade-in? Smells kind of fishy, but if you can get it for that price, it's a great price.

Based on a random zip code (63001) and a sale price of $35,000, the TT&L in Mo. is about $2,500. This approximation would have to be relatively close to their selling price. At $2,000 less than invoice, I'd be skeptical. Have you seen the truck or are these over the phone numbers?

If they're willing to do $500 over invoice, I'd like to order a 2017 DCLB 2wd SR5.

I was working with Jeremy Potter at Rodland. It seems like other dealers will do Inv+$500, Magic Toyota in Edmonds, WA said they would match it. The only place that won't match is Lake City Toyota in Seattle.

I'm sure it depends on the area, but yeah I don't see why not.

 

I've also been talking to the fleet manager at Toyota of Tacoma and he said he could get me an even better deal on a 2017. I don't know if that's true. I'd call them to see what they can do for price, also.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger. I called every dealer within a 200 mile radius and all of them said that 2017 trd off road w/ jbl would have to be special ordered...didn't want to wait that long...so 37.5k out the door.

Either there's a typo in the MSRP Trd Pro auto or they've upped the price $30,000.

sorry no pdf. doing it in pdf format doesn't translate very well into the way the thread formats the post. something changed last year where I could no longer keep a text file (notepad) version and it would transfer correctly. now I have to edit exclusively in the website and with the forum editing tools.
