Yep they are still available, I've been continuing to build them as I have time so that it's not such a mad rush in winter.

Yeah I never mentioned in the first post but these are super fast if you need to clear up fogged mirrors.

Sounds good, just let me know when you are ready! Installing before winter hits is probably a good idea lol

If only he had other kits to sell...:boink:

I typically ship the next business day after payment is received. I work during the day so I can only package up orders later on when I get home. Right now there is a major strike / lockout that will likely take effect this Monday with the Canadian postal system. I have one order going out next week where the customer elected to have it sent UPS which is a bit extra. I'm also sending a couple orders out through USPS in a couple of weeks when I'll be in Washington (if Canada Post does lock out the employees).

Glad you like it and thanks for the props! An entirely new product is well underway  Just taking longer than I had hoped to develop but will be worth the wait! :spy:

    Jaimes,

When you get a chance, please send me an invoice for one of your new style mirror adjust kits in amber with a five minute timer, minus the mirrors. Just ran out of switch space on the dash now that the lockers are in.

Sure I can do that and thanks for another order! I've been following your build, looks like you have been getting a lot done lately.

With the mirror adjust kit you have the option of either having the switch light up when your headlights come on (like the rest of your switches) or it can light up only while the mirrors are heating. I usually recommend going on with headlights since the lighting isn't really bright enough to easily be seen during daylight but I can do whichever way you prefer

I'd like the first option that illuminates when I activate the headlamps. Thanks again.

Alright you got it. Invoice inbound, I'll do the colour matched Amber swap at N/C. You are one of only a few who have ordered 2 kits :)

This Tacoma was our 5th Toyota, but my first Tacoma. The dealer told us Toyota does not put heated mirrors on Tacomas because they try to make them unbreakable. Not sure if this is true, but it seems as advanced as vehicles have come, heated mirrors would be nothing. This kit looks great.

We are also on our 5th Toyota, currently 2 Rav4 and the Tacoma... Although we are in the process of selling one of the Rav's now. None of them have given us any troubles, just routine maintenance. That's an odd remark from Toyota, they do heated mirrors in many of the other vehicles. In fact a lot of the kit is assembled from genuine Toyota product, just not the Tacoma specifically.

Just replied to your email

Could I get the price on the mirror kit for my 2013, with button color matched to oem color? And I guess the 5minute timer as well.

Have you looked into selling the turn signal kits as well? Seems like something that could be done all as one step especially for those of us for have the non signal mirrors.

Sure thing, sorry for the long post but here is a copy of pricing for the different kit options. Price includes shipping.

Also one guy who bought a kit went with Muth mirrors rather than the Toyota mirrors in my kit and they have built in turn signals. I'll see if I can round up the picture.

    Pricing

Switch Left of Steering Wheel - $340 USD
Switch Under Climate Controls - $360 USD

Pricing structure on the new Mirror adjust switch option will be as follows:

Base - No Illumination or Timer - $355
    - With this option to start heating the mirrors press in the top right button to start heating the mirrors (the button will remain pushed in). When the mirrors are clear push the button again and it will release and stop heating the mirrors.
    - This option will require for you to add 1 terminal into an empty slot in your existing mirror adjustment switch connector

    Add an Automatic Timer +35
    - Will include a timer relay with preset heating times for 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes which you can advise what you want it set for. It can also be very easily changed after the fact if you want to adjust to a different time setting.
    - The mirror adjust switch will have the button converted over to a momentary style so that it springs back out after you have pressed it. (same as the other two options currently available)
    - This option will require for you to add 1 terminal into an empty slot in your existing mirror adjustment switch connector

    Add Illuminated Switch +35
    - This option will include a switch that illuminates and you can choose between having it illuminate when the headlights turn on like the rest of your switches, or if you prefer you can have it only illuminate when the mirrors are heating (however it can only be wired to do one or the other but not both)
    - Includes an additional bridge harness that is needed since the illuminating switches use an entirely different connector on the back. No need to add a terminal into a connector, simply click one end of the harness onto your existing mirror connector and the other end of the harness into the new switch and you're done.

Below is a couple pics oh my kit paired with Muth heated / turn signal mirrors. My kit cost drops by $110 if no mirrors are needed, I believe that Muth option is around $200 or so.

My wife had a '10 Rav4, '12 Rav4 and '13 Highlander and now has a '15 Sienna Limited. The Tacoma is my first. I'm betting it will last me for many years to come. Looking forward to getting the kit and installing it. Thanks for the help and all your research/work on the kits. Looks great on your post and it appears the reviews are great too.
