Hey everyone! So I just graduated and landed a new job and want to start building my Toyota how I want to. It is a 1996 Toyota Tacoma LX 4x4 3.4 V6 Automatic. Long story short of what is done to the truck is, Aftermarket Radio/Speakers, HAM Radio, Aftermarket Prime Wheels 15x8's (Want New Black Wheels), Brand New Wild Country A/T 30x9.50R15's (Not The Size I Wanted But Free Graduation Present, Brand New Brake Calipers, Brand New Rotors, Brand New Brake Pads, Brand New Right Side CV Axle/Brand New Right Side Upper And Lower Ball Joint (Lower Ball Joint Went Out, A Big Mess Haha), New Moog Regreasable Heavy Duty U-Joint At The Rear Of The Rear Driveshaft Going In To The Rear End, Newer Transmission Filter, Newer Gaskets And Seals In The Motor, Blacked Out The Tail Lights, 3rd Brake Light, Marker Lights, And Turn Signal Lights . I want to get the fillers that go under the headlights, new tail lights (both of mine are busted), change all the fluids, new wheels (Cragar Soft 8 Bullet Holes 15x10), and I would like 33x12.50R15's on them but I know I will need to lift and trim some things, I also want to do the deck plate mod, and a small light bar in the front valence. Anyone have ideas on what I should do? Any recommendations for anything, stuff you like, or anything like what kind of lift to clear the wheels and tires? Thank you all and I will post updates!

Spend a little longer on this site and you wont even need to ask. See what everyone else is doing and pick what you want. Dont let someone else "build" your truck.

@devinzz1 Not letting anyone build my truck just taking suggestions on what people think. But I am defiantly looking around on the site! Haha

Also thought about doing flared fenders like you would see on a trophy truck and doing a weird exo cage with bumpers. Would be different but wouldn't know what it would look like haha

Well if you ask me. Id start with the fillers, bumper, hood paint.

Lift wise dont cheap out with spacers/blocks. An ome kit or 5100s bare minimum.

Going with 33s your gona wana regear to 4.88s. If not the thing will be a slow pig (even though it is already) and strain the auto tranny. Still not required but its the right way to do it.

Remember that gearing was put in to run small 28" tires. I went with 32s on 3.91s to lessen the power loss but it was very noticable. My next big upgrade will be gears.

3" lift, 32s, and a locker will get you most places. I have the 32-11.5-15s
