    I have a super cool Non Scooped hood that is white that I just took off Because I found one with a Scoop :headbang: any takers on the old one? I am in the San Diego Area.

    so if I'm not mistaken we can buy the hood for $413+shipping?

    obviously have to paint it too tho..

    but that can't be more then 150-200 can it?
    I mean factory paint isn't that great to start with

    I don't know where I looked at the dealer and it was $596 plus paint mines in paint right now $619, that might be steep but they do quality work and I'm sure nobody will know it's not factory paint

    and I bet yours will look perfect but...I don't want to spend that much on the part and for sure not that much on paint...I love the scoop look but I can wait lol

    Yep thats it and an OE part, I did a little better on the hood finding it on here for sale, i got it for 350, but thats a good deal unless they stick you like 200 for shipping. I am sure if you shop it around you can get paint for less I just was impressed how good of a job this paint shop did on my wife's Subaru. I gave them the work for that.

    No, I ended up finding a MGM hood on here for 350 and 619 for paint to paint it Super White, but the hood was 596 if I would have purchased it from the dealer. That one for 413 is a great deal there are just a few more things you need to add to it to make it complete. the hood scoop insert some rubber seals on the bottom of the hood.

    $600 for paint seems a bit excessive to me, but I haven't actually quoted one myself.
