Minimum Post Count before posting a thread in the Buy/Sell/Trade section?

    I can't find it right now, but another member suggested having a minimum post count before posting an item for sale in the Buy/Sell/Trade section (I.E. truck sales). I thought it was a good idea so I am just passing it along. :)


    Thoughts?

    2 ten inch kicker cvt subs, pioneer deck and alpine 1000 watt class D amp, and flowmaster exhaust, 4 inch camburg lift spindles and my coilover is adjusted to 1" (5inch total) in front and 3" All Pro leafs, KING off road racing reservoir shocks and coil-overs, KR FAB CUSTOM BUMPER with three 9" HELLA 4000 Race LIGHTS , HID headlights with rigid amber LEDs , "KR Fabrication" custom built bumper, sliders and tiregate, Full size spare with matching rim, custom bed bar with two amber off road lights, cb radio, also BHLM (thanks Ray), and debagged
    i think it would be a good idea... kinda like the power rating on ebay... good post bro....

    im assuming your taking your frustration out cuz u must of had a bad experience haha... keeps the integrity of the site in this suggestion....

    Most definitely. There's too many threads about people trying to sell their trucks and they only have 1 post, then they never post again. It just kind of clutters up the B/S/T section and makes it a little harder to find things you may actually be looking for.

    Although it would be nice, I doubt it will be effective. If a post requirement is instated, then you'll have people just making useless or "blank" posts just to get to the point and post in that thread.

    Either way, your taking a chance buying from another member, just a risk you have weigh and see if its worth it.

    I disagree. If I wanted to sell my work truck, a ford ranger, and wanted to go on a ranger forum to sell it, why should I be required to have posts. I don't like the ranger so I'm not frequenting a ranger forum. The for sale post quite possibbly is contributing to the forum traffic which is a plus. And someone may be looking for that truck.

    This is a good point. I really agree with the lack of trust with low post members, but say jdkeller hypothetically owns a ranger and he is on a ranger forum instead of a tacoma forum. He gets a tacoma and wants to sell it here. i think that if he is like a regualar at the other forum then that should be enough if he includes his info and his time there.
