The quote was not exact. But it was certainly not modified to "fit my comment". It was several pages back and I wasn't 100% certain where it was nor was it worth searching for.

And don't worry about "having my support". That's a non-issue from this point forward. Your post has done nothing but prove my point.

This forum is something else.

It's going to be one of those items I quoted earlier. Those are the types of things that cause the brakes to go to the floor. There is a problem if it can't be replicated. Nobody will do much of anything if it can't be shown there is a problem.

I'm not knocking the OP here but to everyone if you ever have any sort or brake trouble, get off to the side of the road and have it towed to the dealership. It's not worth risking your life or others. The tow will be covered.

Any updates? Even if it's a mechanical issue I'm having a hard time with the computer seeing the brake and gas pressed at the same time. Even if you do that the brakes are still suppose to work. I highly doubt the OP is pressing the brake and gas at the same doing 40 mph coming to a red light or behind another vehicle.

Have to agree with this OP. You are not going to find your answers here. Nobody can diagnose a problem over the Internet, it's all based on speculation. Your dealer is your best friend, and if they turn their back on you, find a new friend.

    Very true.
And if it's what I think it is and the OP had ATRAC, then it's an integrated system that I've heard can retail for $4-5k's, so a new friend maybe hard to find.

    Cheers!

I'm so hurt and offended. I don't know how I'll ever recover or find a way to feel better. You guys are so mean. I'm calling my Mom.

I no longer have any use for this thread. I refuse to continue to bicker with 20 something year olds over the internet about how you read something I typed, meanwhile you've supplied not a single post talking about brakes. I was told by others that there was much trolling and teens/young folks that use these sites for fun. I see that is a true statement. I have home repairs to get back to. Grown up things. In the mean time, call your mom for some kleenex

You missed the post about Toyota Care not being able to get me a tow truck. But between all the emojis and concern about my personality it's probably hard to find.

Does anyone actually read the entire thread or just jump in where they feel like?

Actually I work in a prison. So as you can see, I'm very hurt by these things you are saying. How will I ever get over this? SMH

Let me ask you something Moondeath, 4,206 posts... Do you always contribute nothing but a bunch of garbage? Or is something you've said useful? I'm just curious because you're losing sleep over me. You really shouldn't let words on a message board get you so overwhelmed. Stress is not good.

I don't care if she looks like a super model, no one is capable of dealing with that demeanor on a daily basis.

Oh, to be in my 20s again, and driving a 2016 Tacoma :bananadance:.

That would have been a dream and a different life path for sure.
