Yes I had a 2013 now a 2016 best trucks I have ever owned. Not one problem with either truck. I had a 2005 Ford F150 transmission blew at 36 600 miles. Ford said to bad out of warranty. I had a 2009 Honda ridgeline nice truck but the Tacoma is a much better truck.

Changing your picture from Clint would make it easier to do that. He represents a tough guy. I bet he would go out there with his 44 and shoot his truck and make his day and be done with it. Have you considered pee wee herman.

There you go folks, a representation of facts well know by thousands to be true.

    Awesome!! lmaooo!
    :infantry:

    Dam straight you can.
$66k?? Just for some gignizium, luminiun & fancy gauges? Geezz!
I’d rather have $33k in gold coins, bonds or I can even buy property that rents out for residual income, and plug the rest of the $cash on a Taco.

And for half that price your chances of retained value with a Tacoma are better, no matter how much time and effort $hitty99 puts into trying to diminish your cash value with his constant marketing bash because this truck is known and chosen all over the world by ppl via word of mouth for its reliability and durability.

“Due to the scarcity of quality among used midsize pickups, the prices for V6 iterations of Toyota’s Tacoma range anywhere from a 3% depreciation to an appreciation of over 5%. The new (and impressive) Colorado and Canyon may bite into Toyota’s market share a bit, but if you’re looking for a new truck and don’t want to flush a lot of money down the drain, Toyota’s brand new 2016 Tacoma is a safe bet”

    Hope that helps.
    Cheers!

Yes. I would buy again in a heart beat. All car manufactures have their issues. It's not the issues that cause the complaints, it's how they handle them and how quickly they handle them while staying positive. I love my 3rd Gen way better than my 2nd gen. Better looking, better features, finally get a sun roof, heated seats, etc

Of course everyone wants to tweak their truck differently but unfortunately car manufactures can't customize them to that extent and detail that's why we have the Modding world.

Do you need to know, or care?
Just gotta say Smitty, and no disrespect here because you've made lots of valid posts and concerns. Not knowing financial situation or life in general, but if I hated my drive as much as you, I would just get rid of it and move into something I'm much happier with. I've had a few bad purchases in my life, but got rid of them because I just couldn't stand to drive something that made me so angry. Who needs that stress in their life?

I couldn't agree more. I had to do that in '13 with a new POS and drove a 11yr 4R instead that was like new to drive

I'm not sure why there is so much concern over folks posting negative experiences or their dislikes with new model Tacoma. It only benefits the consumer and if Toyota listens- a better product might be developed as a result.

He don't know how. Maybe some one needs to hold his hand and show him how to do it.

He is over the top with his complaints. I think he is here just to get folks to argue with him.

How is he over the top? His truck issues are over the top, and if I was in his shoes I'd be pretty vocal about it too.

He's illuminating the issues. Just because you may not like to hear it doesn't mean it is not valid.

    I agree.. both perspectives should be noted. BUT, when every post is negative and/or complaining.. the owner should re-evaluate his/her purchase. I get it, not all vehicles are perfect and they have their quarks. I see two options;
    1) accept the fact, seek out solutions and quit bitching.
    2) sell the truck, purchase something else.
    Problem solved.

Because when someone like him engage in a campaign to bash a good product with lies and half truths and deception, it can momentarily affect the resale value of your cash outlay until it gets sorted out by the truth vs concerns that don't exits on a massive scale that he's trying to make everyone believe that it does with his 3k+ posts so and counting.

This will not work over the longer term because this vehicle is widely used and respected for its reliability and durability thru-out the world were there's not internet B/S no $hitty99, just worth of mouth

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!
